Esperanza Rose Arrives!!
The Esperanza Rose - a 65 foot, 85 ton dining yacht arrived on Route 14 early on the morning of May 4th, 2005. The boat will be placed in Keuka Lake at Penn Yan and then sailed to it's port in Branchport!

Turkey at the Elks Club
Last Sunday, members of Penn Yan's Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks, Lodge #1722 served nearly 300 turkey dinners to the community's senior citizens. Cruisin' Night 2004
Over 200 antique and classic cars lined Penn Yan's Main Street on Friday, June 18th. The event was attended by thousands.

Ribbon Cutting at Half Moon Bay!
Chamber President Mike Linehan welcomed Lori Hergert and her crew to Main Street during Crusin' Night festivities. Half Moon Bay offers lake wear for men, women and children.
Penn Yan Retailers Beautify Outlet Trail
Working form the Boat Launch to the Main Street bridge, half a dozen volunteers gathered nearly 200 pounds of litter and debris. Participating retailers included Jim Long (and his sons Michael and Brian), Joan Hansen, Duane Weldon and Chamber President Mike Linehan.
Mike Linehan Announced the Winner
President of the Yates County Chamber of Commerce, Mike Linehan, annouced the winners of our monthly cash drawing - Lisa & Ken Greenwood from the Wagener Estate B&B. Unfortunately, Lisa & Ken didn't make it to Business After Hours this month so the pot grows! Next month we will be at Top O' The Lake B&B to give away $950! Be there to win!
Business After Hours at Glenora 3/24/04
This month we held a joint Business After Hours with the Schuyler County Chamber of Commerce at Glenora Wine Cellars. The wine flowed freely, the food was delicious and the networking was never ending! Fast Ferry Trade Mission
On July 19th a delegation from the Finger Lakes attended a trade mission aboard "The Cat", the high speed ferry that runs from Rochester to Toronto. The goal of the mission is to build bridges between the tourism industry in the two cities, to create increased visitation to the Finger Lakes.
Annual Dinner Award Winners

The Norman Snow Memorial Spirit Award was given to David Wegman and the crew at Esperanza for the restoration and development of Yates County’s newest restaurant, banquet center and lodging facility. Both men contribute in countless ways to the well being of this community and it was out pleasure to honor them!
